Madeleine Kuebler began her training with the Academy of Colorado Ballet in Denver, Colorado and the HARID Conservatory in Boca Raton, Florida. She has also attended summer intensives with San Francisco Ballet, Ellison Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet, and others. She returned to Colorado Ballet for her final year of training and joined their company the following season. There, she danced in a number of ballets including Don Quixote, Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, and George Balanchine's Serenade, and also performed excerpts from Giselle and The Nutcracker in outreach performances.
Kuebler joined Ballet Tucson in the fall of 2021. Since joining, she has danced in ballets such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, George Balanchine's Concerto Barocco and Who Cares?, as well as in works choreographed by resident choreographer Chieko Imada.
We asked Madeleine: What piece or concert are you most looking forward to in the 2022-2023 season and why?
“This season I am so excited for our production of 'The Nutcracker', with our new partnership with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra! Dancing with a live orchestra brings such a deep connection to the music that is so special to me, and adds an extra layer of magic to the show. I am really looking forward to dancing such a classic ballet with that added element of beauty, and I think the audience will find it very special too!”
