Since returning home to Tucson I have talked a lot about the importance of bringing great dance to our city. This beautiful art form has the power to uplift and inspire our community and our dancers are thriving in the world-class ballets that we now bring to the stage. We want every Ballet Tucson performance you attend to be a special experience and our commitment to artistic excellence is unwavering. We are proud to be Tucson’s only Professional Ballet Company and one of the Four Pillars of the Arts Community.
Our 2024-2025 Season offers beloved classics, company premieres that push the boundaries of ballet and creations that uniquely celebrate our city as Tucson approaches its 250th birthday. Highlights include the highly anticipated return of Chieko Imada's Dia de los Muertos-inspired ballet Spirit Garden in collaboration with famed artist Lawrence Lee, the Ballet Tucson premiere of one of legendary choreographer George Balanchine's most iconic works Rubies, another dazzling ballet by Tony Award-winning choreographer Justin Peck and an exciting world premiere by Chieko Imada in partnership with the Tucson Desert Song Festival and the Tucson Guitar Society featuring the music of the Father of Chicano Music and treasure of Tucson's Barrio Viejo, Lalo Guerrero.
I invite you to become a 2024-2025 Season Subscriber today to receive special discounts and exclusive benefits as you enjoy our performances. This season we are also giving you two great options, our Classic Subscription and our Mixed Rep Subscription, to ensure you find the perfect package for you. Ballet Tucson continues to reach new heights and I guarantee you won’t want to miss a moment!
Thank you for your support and I’ll see you at the Ballet this fall,
Margaret Mullin
