At The School of Ballet Tucson, we seek to provide the opportunity for students of all ages to receive the highest caliber of dance training from accomplished instructors while developing a deep love for the art form and a means for greater self-expression. We offer a wide variety of classes and pricing options for our school year.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
We look forward to welcoming you for another great school year at SBT! To guarantee a place in desired classes, early registration is recommended for both new and returning students: July 13–August 1, 2026. A $100 discount is available for level 1-7 students who opt to pay for their entire school year of classes up front during the early registration period.
We assess each student’s progress on an ongoing basis and evaluations are made in consultation with all teachers. Placement levels are shared with returning students and parents prior to the beginning of the school year. Recommendations for placement and advancement are based on a student’s age in addition to ability, strength, and technical development. All new students must take a placement class to be assessed by faculty before enrolling in classes.

PAYMENT POLICY
All tuition payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. A $30 registration fee is required upon enrollment. Accepted payment methods include credit cards (American Express and Discover included), checks, and in-person cash payments. A $35 fee will be applied for any returned funds. Monthly tuition is due on the first day of each month with the exception of August as the new school year begins. A $50 late fee will be assessed on the 15th of the month for any unpaid balance.
All outstanding tuition for the 2025–2026 school year must be paid in full by August 1, 2026. Returning students will not be permitted to enroll in the following school year unless the prior year’s tuition has been paid in full.
Additional audition fees for productions and summer programs may apply based on participation; exact amounts are subject to change.

Recipients of Merit Scholarships for the SBT school year do not need to audition and will be notified at the beginning of August. Summer Workshop scholarship auditions will take place in the spring.
