Francesca Poznanski is from Middletown NJ and trained at a local studio until 2019 when she began her first two professional seasons as an apprentice with Carolina Ballet in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Poznanski is now a Demi Soloist in her second season with Ballet Tucson and has had the privilege to dance roles such as "Jumping Girl" in Balanchines' "Who Cares?"; "Cygnets" in Swan Lake; and soloist parts in Kiyon Ross ballets during her inaugural season. She is excited about the new changes in the company and is happy to be back on stage!

We asked Francesca: What piece or concert are you most looking forward to in the 2022-2023 season and why?

“I am most excited for Petipa's Raymonda Variations, because that was one of the first ballets I ever learned and it's always had a special place in my heart for that reason. It is beautiful and intricate and challenging and I cannot wait to get working on it to finally perform it   professionally!”
